Normal wear and tear for Dental Chairs includes;

​

Upholstery & Padding

 

• Minor creases, wrinkles, or flattening of cushions from repeated patient use

• Slight fading or dulling of upholstery color due to cleaning and age

• Very small surface scuffs that do not expose foam or padding

 

Mechanical & Functional Components

• Gradual slowing of motors while still operating within normal limits

• Minor play or looseness in joints that does not affect safety or function

• Routine seal, O-ring, or gasket aging requiring scheduled replacement

 

Armrests, Headrests & Touchpoints

• Light scratches or polishing on armrests and handles from frequent contact

• Normal wear on adjustment knobs or buttons (labels slightly worn but legible)

 

Finish & Structural Surfaces

• Minor scratches or paint wear on the base or frame that do not expose metal

• Slight discoloration of plastic components from approved disinfectants

Electrical & Controls

• Normal button or touchscreen responsiveness decline consistent with age

• Backlight dimming over time (if still readable and functional)

What Is Not Normal Wear and Tear

These are considered damage, neglect, or misuse:

​

• Tears, splits, or holes in upholstery

• Cracked plastic housings or broken armrests

• Rust or corrosion due to improper cleaning or moisture exposure

• Hydraulic or motor failure caused by lack of maintenance

• Non-functional controls or safety features

• Damage from unauthorized repairs or modifications

Alcohol or Chlorine based cleaning products are not recommended to use to clean the surfaces or the upholstery as it will damage the surfaces and the upholstery material.

Owandy Warranty

​

For all Owandy Radiology products (except software), the warranty period is 24 months from the date of delivery, Unless specified otherwise.

TechWest Warranty

​

The following are the warranty periods on Tech West equipment.

​

Oilless Compressor:

• 5 years OR 3500 hours on motor only

• 2 years on all other components

 

EcoVac: 5 years or 5000 hours Warranty

 

Goldenvac:

• 10 years on stainless steel parts

• 5 years on motor shaft

• 3 years on all other components

This warranty is valid only if you return the warranty card within 90 days of installation. The warranty period begins on the date of installation.

Sierra Warranty

​

Warranty Period

Warranty is valid only with the return of the warranty card within 30 days of purchase for a period of 10 years for TRU-VAC Dry Vacuum system.

 

Warranty is valid only with the return of the warranty card within 30 days of purchase for a period of 5 years for Wet Vacuum System.

 

Warranty is valid only with the return of the warranty card within 30 days of purchase for a period of 3 years or 2100 hours whichever comes first for Air Compressors.

YOU MUST INCLUDE a copy of the start-up procedure which came with your new compressor. This is to confirm little to no leaks in the air system. YOU MUST DO A PRESSURE TEST AFTER THE COMPRESSOR IS INSTALLED TO VALIDATE WARRANTY! 

 

Warranty for the equipment is limited to the original purchaser of the unit.

TPC Warranty

​

All of our products sold are guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and materials for one year from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated. TPC will repair or replace any defective part at no charge. TPC will not be responsible for labor charges or shipping charges to / from the TPC facility. This guarantee does not cover normal wear or stains on surface finish. The guarantee does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, misuse or accidents incurred in shipping and handling. All claims against the freight carrier must be initiated at the time the damaged items are received. The claim is the responsibility of the customer. We are improving our products on a continuous basis. We reserve the right to make modifications without the need for prior notification and are not obliged to modify previously manufactured items. Bulbs and batteries are not covered under any type of warranty.

Vector Warranty

​

Products are covered under warranty for a period of one year from the delivery date, the device shall be free from defects in material and workmanship. In case the machine is found malfunctioned under normal use, Vector R & D Inc. will offer service of free maintenance and parts for replacement.
